Fun in the Sprinklers

All day Sunday Kiley kept asking up to play in the sprinklers. We told her after her nap we would go outside and she could play however, we got busy and ended up going grocery shopping. We thought maybe she forgot about it but no chance. She talked about it the whole time we were out. When we finally got home she was so excited she could hardly contain herself. She played until there was no more sun. She got a little cold at the end but I still got some cute pictures.

Look at that Boy Run!

On Saturday Brian's cousin from Danville, who is a Sophmore in High School, had a track meet here in Sacramento at Hughes Stadium. Brian's Mom came and Kiley (of course) was so excited to see her. Kiley was running up and down the stairs, the girl would not sit still. Since we all got out so much energy (chasing crazy Kiley around) and because it was so hot we decided to get some delicious ice cream. We had so much fun spending time with Uncle Glenn and Cousin Ryan.

The Early Bird Catches the Worm

I woke up early Saturday morning to go to garage sales with one of my long time friends Danielle. We definitely found some good stuff. My two favorite things I found were camping chairs for my girls. They were only $1.00 and they are in good condition. Kiley's is pink and Lea's is purple, although Lea loves to try and sit in Kiley's chair. I got a picture of Lea trying to climb in her sisters chair, Kiley had a fit and Lea was cracking up!

Bike Ride

On Saturday it was such a beautiful day that we decided to go for a bike ride. We rode to the River entrance at Rossmore, by our house, had a few snacks for the girls and set out on our adventure. They had such a great time that Kiley did not want to go home. As you can see Lea had so much fun she fell asleep on the way home. Kiley did not want to get out of her seat, she wanted to stay in it all day. We finally bribed her to get out. Our bike ride turned out more exciting then we actually planned.

We stopped half way through our ride at some benches we saw. We noticed a man riding his bike pulling his youngest kid in a buggy (like what our girls our in), and his eight year old son was riding behind him. All the sudden we heard SNAKE! As we turned our heads the eight year old son fell over almost on top of a RATTLE SNAKE. The dad could not stop fast enough to help his son and passed right by him. Next thing I know Lea landed in my arms and Brian was running straight towards the kid and the snake (that was now slithering toward the kid). Brian scooped the kid up just as the snake was about a foot from the kid. It was amazing! The kid was safe and the snake went back to his home in the bushes. We all praise the Lord that Brian was at the right place at the right time. It was especially good that Brian can run fast when he needs to.

All and all it was a really fun ride!

"Look at me Mom, I can climb"

Lea is a little monkey. She was so proud of herself when she climbed on her sisters chair. She would wave at me and then climb down, then get right back up again. She has got so much personality.

There is no way I can get mad at her when she looks at me like that.

Fatty Foods

For those of you that don't know Lea is not gaining any weight. In the last 3 months she has weighed in at 14 lbs. We saw our doctor last week and he said we need to add more fatty foods to her diet. So after that visit we decided to give her...(drum roll please).....avacados and peanut butter. It was a wonderful combination and she loved it, but what kid doesn't like peanut butter.

The Newest House Cleaner

When I get my little vacuum out Lea immediately starts to chase it around the room. I discovered this a few weeks ago when she began eating everything off the floor (and I mean EVERYTHING). I now use this little vacuum after every meal and every time I pull it out she helps me push it around, laughing the entire time. She makes vacuuming so fun!

Kiley "The Mommy"

Ever since my sister had James and my best friend Dena had Evan in January, Kiley has been obsessed with baby dolls. After feeding Lea breakfast one morning Kiley decided to feed her baby. Here are a few of the pictures we got before her baby was done eating.

Puppy Love

The puppies are getting bigger now. They are walking, play bitting, and the cutest of all, they are barking at each other. Their eyes and ears are open and they love when people pet them. Just let me know if you have extra love to give, they need all the attention they can get.

We love the park!

We have a park right down the street from our house that we walk to often. My kids LOVE to be out of the house and enjoying the warm sun. I believe almost every day we either walk or I have started running to the park. This time we invited some friends to go with us. We had a great time playing.

This is Auntie Katie she is due any day. Katie took the walk with us that day to hang out with her nieces but also to try and get baby Tyler out.

This was the first time Lea had an whole apple put to her mouth. She was not sure excatly what to do. After a few times she got the hang of it and was taking bites like a pro.

This is my newest friend Amy. Amy and I met at a Tiny Tots group at Hagan Park. Abby is her daughter in the swing and Charles is behind her, she nanny's for him. I have met some wonderful friends.

I put sunscreen on Lea at the park and I had to put some in her hair. Well, I decided to have some fun with her hair. I spiked it so she would have crazy hair (that is what Kiley calls it). She looked so cute.

Crazy Painters

My sister Sandy and her daughter Haylie came over and we decided to let the girls have some fun. Kiley got a paint set for her birthday and Sandy brought paper over. We layed the girls down on the floor, outlined their bodies and then hung the pictures on the wall so they could paint them. They had so much fun! One of the funniest things to me is that Haylie is fully clothed with a smock on and my daughter is naked. I don't know how that came about but it is pretty funny. Poor Haylie is only working with one arm because her other arm is broken she is a trooper.

Kiley was being a stinker and kepy trying to paint on Haylie's picture so finally I took a picture and she knew she got caught.

One, Two, Three Strikes Your Out At The Old Ball Game

On Sunday we took a last minute adventure to the RiverCats game. The game started at 1:00pm so it was right in the middle of the girls nap and it was in the low 90's. Needless to say they were a handful. However we had so much fun with God Mommy Dede and God Daddy Matt.

We sat right behind home plate about 20 rows up and were really only in the sun for about a half hour. It was interesting to try and keep a 2yr old in a seat and Lea on my lap. Good thing we were close enough for them to see the ball.

Kiley was running up and down our row, doing the buckles on the front pack and in general acting like a typical two year old. As you see by her face this is her half leave me alone and half smiling look.

Lea was yelling at me in this picture because she wanted something on the ground and we would not let her have it. I am so mean!

Now I am just going to put some random pictures from the game that I like.

After the game ended the kids were allowed to run the bases. The only bad thing was that I could not go with Kiley. So as I was standing in line I met a woman who had four older daughters and one said they would be happy to take her around the bases. Kiley went around with her new friend Kayla; she was such a nice girl.

Here is pictures of the girls at the end of the day at home in their beds, they were so tired they fell asleep on the way home. It is always fun going to a baseball game. It was a long day!
